“Stray Kids to take over the global music market with ATE on July 19, 2024!”
Stray Kids will release their new mini album ATE on July 19.
The group has solidified their status as a global K-pop powerhouse through self-produced music and remarkable growth. Their mini album ODDINARY (March 2022) debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, followed by MAXIDENT (October 2022), their 3rd full album ★★★★★ (5-STAR) (June 2023), and 樂-STAR (ROCK-STAR) (November 2023), all entering the chart at No. 1. With the title track LALALALA from 樂-STAR, Stray Kids also became the first 4th generation K-pop boy group to enter the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 90.
They further elevated K-pop’s global presence by sweeping awards at major international ceremonies. In September 2023, they won “Best K-Pop” at the MTV Video Music Awards with their 3rd album title track S-Class. In November, they received “Top K-Pop Album” at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards for ★★★★★ (5-STAR). In 2024, they continued their winning streak with “Group of the Year” at the People’s Choice Awards in February and “K-Pop Album of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in April.
Recently, Stray Kids became the first K-pop group to attend the world’s largest fashion charity event, the Met Gala, garnering global headlines. Outlets such as GQ, British GQ, Rolling Stone, and Billboard named them among the best-dressed at Met Gala 2024, while their social media metrics proved their unparalleled influence. Alongside the release of ATE, Stray Kids will headline three major summer festivals: “I-Days” in Milan, Italy, “BST Hyde Park” in London, UK, and “Lollapalooza Chicago” in the U.S.
On May 10, they collaborated with Charlie Puth on the digital single Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth), expanding their global presence. They performed the Stray Kids version of the song on ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show, captivating fans worldwide. On May 25, the track entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 90, marking their second entry on the chart after LALALALA.
Continuing their record-breaking momentum, Stray Kids will release their new mini album ATE on July 19, taking their career to even greater heights. In the intro video for Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth), the group hinted at their comeback to fans (STAY), building anticipation. On June 19, at midnight KST, they unveiled the official album trailer, further fueling excitement.
The trailer shows Stray Kids as advertising models for the fortune cookie brand “ATE.” With the clever concept of fortune cookies that break open to reveal luck, the high-quality video amplifies curiosity and expectations for the album.
Armed with originality, individuality, and global presence, Stray Kids are expected to once again capture the hearts of fans worldwide with their new mini album ATE on July 19.
