The new album MAXIDENT features lyrics and composition by all members, led by the producing team 3RACHA, delivering a masterpiece full of individuality and authenticity.
The title track CASE 143 is Stray Kids’ own unique take on a love song, portraying love as a “case” with explosive energy over a dynamic sound.
Following their sold-out shows at KSPO DOME and the success of their 2nd World Tour across 9 cities with 19 shows, Stray Kids achieve yet another milestone.

On October 7, 2022, Stray Kids will release their new mini album MAXIDENT along with the title track CASE 143.

Earlier this year, with their previous album ODDINARY released on March 18, Stray Kids entered No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking the third time ever for a K-pop artist. Its title track MANIAC surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of August 31, further proving their explosive global popularity. With this, Stray Kids have firmly established themselves as the “4th generation leaders of K-pop” and are now making a spectacular comeback after seven months with MAXIDENT.

The album title MAXIDENT is a coined word combining “Max/Maximum” and “Accident/Incident,” meaning a massive event that strikes unexpectedly. The album includes eight tracks in total, featuring the title track CASE 143 along with Chill, Give Me Your TMI, SUPER BOARD, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), TASTE (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix), Can’t Stop Loving You (Seungmin, I.N), and the Korean version of CIRCUS, originally the title track of their Japanese 2nd mini album.

The title track CASE 143 marks Stray Kids’ first-ever love song as a title track, showcasing a new side to the group. The lyrics cleverly portray confusing emotions from first love as a “case” or express affection using the number “143” (I LOVE YOU). With its swift progression over chromatic synth lines and Stray Kids’ signature powerful energy, the track delivers an electrifying experience. 3RACHA—Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han—who have produced all of Stray Kids’ title tracks from debut single District 9 (2018) to MANIAC (2022), took charge of writing and composing once again, with Bang Chan also participating in arrangement, highlighting their artistry.

All members contributed to the credits of this new release, adding their individuality and sincerity. Renowned producers including VERSACHOI, Hong Jisang, and earattack also participated, resulting in another well-made album.

With their distinctive music and performances, Stray Kids have captivated K-pop fans worldwide. Having recently wrapped up their 2nd World Tour across 9 cities and 19 shows—all sold out—they once again proved themselves as a “concert powerhouse.” Fueled by fans’ passionate support, the group held two sold-out concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul on September 17–18, further cementing their growth. Additional concerts have since been announced, showing the unstoppable momentum of Stray Kids.
